LIST: Columbia Pictures movie lineup from 2021 - Feb 2022


Three tentpole Marvel films, sequels to classic thrillers, and action-adventures based on popular games. Movie fans can expect these blockbuster treats as Columbia Pictures announces its lineup of titles from the last quarter of  2021 to February 2022.

Filipino audiences have shown tremendous support for the reopening of cinemas, and Columbia Pictures looks forward to offering them the opportunity to see these films as they’re meant to be seen – in theaters on the big screen. Check out the studio’s release schedule below.

Don’t Breathe 2

In 2016’s Don’t Breathe, Norman Nordstrom (Stephen Lang) was underestimated by everyone because of his blindness, but ultimately revealed an unflinching will to survive and get what he wants… and a monstrous, evil side of his personality. Now, in Don’t Breathe 2, eight years have passed, and Nordstrom has recreated the family stolen from him by a drunk driver and found the twisted justice he’s always felt was his due. When intruders once again come to his home, this time focused on his 11-year-old daughter, Norman will reveal for a second time what’s hidden inside him, in new and unexpected ways.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage - Dec. 8, 2021


Tom Hardy returns to the big screen as the lethal protector Venom, one of Marvel’s greatest and most complex characters. Directed by Andy Serkis, the film also stars Michelle Williams, Naomie Harris, Reid Scott, Stephen Graham and Woody Harrelson, in the role of the villain Cletus Kasady/Carnage.

Resident Evil: Welcome To Raccoon City - Dec. 15, 2021

Returning to the origins of the massively popular Resident Evil franchise, fan and filmmaker Johannes Roberts brings the games to life for a whole new generation of fans. Starring Kaya Scodelario, Hannah John-Kamen, Robbie Amell, Tom Hopper, Avan Jogia, with Donal Logue and Neal McDonough.

Spider-Man: No Way Home - Jan. 8, 2022


For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood hero is unmasked and no longer able to separate his normal life from the high-stakes of being a Super Hero. When he asks for help from Doctor Strange the stakes become even more dangerous, forcing him to discover what it truly means to be Spider-Man. Directed by Jon Watts, the film stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jon Favreau, Jacob Batalon with Marisa Tomei.

Ghostbusters: Afterlife - Jan. 26, 2022



From director Jason Reitman and producer Ivan Reitman, comes the next chapter in the original Ghostbusters universe. In Ghostbusters: Afterlife, when a single mom and her two kids arrive in a small town, they begin to discover their connection to the original ghostbusters and the secret legacy their grandfather left behind. Starring Carrie Coon, Finn Wolfhard, Mckenna Grace and Paul Rudd.

Morbius - Feb. 9, 2022


One of Marvel’s most compelling and conflicted characters comes to the big screen as Oscar winner Jared Leto transforms into the enigmatic antihero Michael Morbius. Dangerously ill with a rare blood disorder and determined to save others suffering his same fate, Dr. Morbius attempts a desperate gamble. While at first it seems to be a radical success, a darkness inside him is unleashed. Will good override evil – or will Morbius succumb to his mysterious new urges? Directed by Daniel Espinosa. Starring Jared Leto, Matt Smith, Adria Arjona, Jared Harris, Al Madrigal with Tyrese Gibson.

Uncharted - Feb. 23, 2022


Based on one of the best-selling, most critically acclaimed video game series of all time, Uncharted introduces audiences to the young street-smart Nathan Drake (Tom Holland) and showcases his first treasure hunting adventure with wisecracking partner Victor “Sully” Sullivan (Mark Wahlberg). In an action-adventure epic that spans the globe, the two go in dangerous pursuit of “the greatest treasure never found” while also tracking clues that may lead to Nathan’s long-lost brother. Directed by Ruben Fleischer.
