'Meteor Garden' remake not streaming on Netflix PH

Sorry, Pinoy fans.

The Meteor Garden remake is not streaming on Netflix in the Philippines.

Despite being announced on its official page, a quick check on my Netflix Media Center account shows the global streaming service is not playing the anticipated Taiwanese series in the country, as well as in Thailand, and Indonesia. It is set to premiere on July 13, 2018.

But ABS-CBN reported last year it has acquired the TV rights to air the series. It is likely it will be dubbed in the vernacular.

First aired in the Philippines in 2003, the original series tells the story of a poor college girl who stands against rich, albeit good-looking bullies, collectively known as F4.
