'Your Name' PH TV premiere this Sunday on ABS-CBN

ABS-CBN finally premieres Japan’s highest grossing anime movie of all time, “Your Name” (“Kimi No Na Wa”), this Sunday (Feb 18) on “KB Family Weekend.”

Follow the story of high schoolers, Mitsuha and Taki, two complete strangers living their separate lives who suddenly wakes up to each other’s bodies after a meteor shower.

The odd occurrence continues to happen randomly and they start to get the hang of living each other’s lives. Their desire to know who actually owns the bodies they inhabit also grows through time so they start to communicate with each other by leaving notes and messages.

Comets continue to light the night sky and their longing to finally meet becomes stronger. Something more daunting than distance, however, prevents them from doing so.

Will Mitsuha and Taki ever meet? Or will forces outside their control keep them apart forever?

“Your Name” grossed a total of US$190 million and won several awards from award giving bodies such as the Tokyo International Film Festival, Newtype Anime Awards, Los Angeles Film Critics Association Awards, Asian Film Awards and Anime Festival.

Don’t miss “Your Name,” airing for the first time on Philippine free-to-air television, this Sunday (Feb 18), 10:15 am on ABS-CBN’s “KB Family Weekend.” (PR)
