‘Baywatch’ Review | A bad movie I enjoyed

Baywatch won’t go down in history as one of the greatest comedy films. The CGI is bad. The jokes are silly. Despite these, I enjoyed this bad movie.

Fans of the TV show will be disappointed as this is not the TV show they grew up watching. The movie’s strength is nostalgia, aside from Zach Efron’s well-sculpted torso. The kid from High School Musical has really grown up and I love how the Rock pokes fun at his teen idol status in the movie.

Downside is the fragmented story. Each character has subplots but these never really tie in with the larger story.

Watch this movie if you are feeling down. Maybe I needed a few laughs when I watched it, while my critical persona was dormant and needed a break.
